I’ve been thinking a lot lately about design, and specifically good design. Denying the idea of good design is concomitant to relativism on a scale Benedict XVI would be deathly afraid of. So what is it, and why do people insist on saying that taste is relative. Maybe it’s because there are so few Jonathan Ive’s in the world.
